AI native expression layer

Nativey

Rewrite selected text where writing already happens. Nativey appears beside the cursor, transforms the text with your model provider, and replaces it only after you approve.

01

Select

Highlight text in an editor, form, comment box, message draft, or document surface.

02

03

Review

Read the proposed result, compare changes, regenerate, copy, or cancel before anything changes.

04

Replace

Commit the approved result back into editable fields while preserving the writing flow.

Modes

Small actions for real writing moments.

Native Natural phrasing Translate Target language Shorter Dense and scannable Clearer Direct expression Professional Ready to send

Data boundary

Your provider key stays in Chrome extension storage.

Nativey does not run a hosted transform backend in version 0.0.1. When you run a transform, the extension sends selected text and prompt instructions to the provider endpoint you configured, using your own API key.

Selected text is held only long enough to show the toolbar, preview the result, and replace or copy after approval.

Built for Chrome Web Store review.

The first release focuses on the core browser writing loop, local settings, provider setup, and a production manifest without localhost permissions.
